Jay Vermeulen

Pure passion for speed and precision.

Jay Vermeulen is an 11-year-old kart racer from Goes in Zeeland, the Netherlands, who has been making waves in motorsport from a very young age. What started as a pure passion for speed and precision quickly evolved into a highly promising career, and his early achievements prove there are great things on the horizon.

His adventure on track began at age five, driving his very first laps on the indoor track in Middelburg. The karting bug bit instantly. For his sixth birthday he received his first own kart and made the move to outdoor racing, starting at the circuit in Strijen. Before long he was tackling tracks across the Netherlands and Europe, developing into a young driver with remarkably mature racing instincts.

Today Jay competes at a high level in the prestigious DKM (Deutsche Kart Meisterschaft). He trains day in, day out, on and off track, to compete with the very best. His focus, dedication and drive to win grow stronger with every lap.

Timeline

The journey

  1. 2019

    First laps

    At age five Jay turns his first laps on the indoor track in Middelburg. The spark is instant.

  2. 2020

    First own kart

    On his sixth birthday Jay gets his first own kart and makes the switch to outdoor racing in Strijen.

  3. 2024

    Podium at IAME nationals

    Jay races his first high-level event at the IAME National Championships and is the only Dutch driver on the podium. In a club race he takes a strong P2.

  4. 2025

    A win in one race

    Due to DKM season preparations Jay races just once, and turns that single race straight into a victory.

  5. 2026

    Full DKM season

    A new chapter: a full DKM season, a new helmet and the same mission. Full speed to the top.
