🏁 Meet Jay Vermeulen

Jay Vermeulen is an 11-year-old kart racer from Goes (Zeeland) who has been making an impression in the world of motorsport from a very young age.

What started as a pure passion for speed and precision has grown into a promising career β€” one that already shows great things are on the horizon.

🏎️ An early start in the karting world

Jay’s journey on the track began at the age of five, when he completed his first laps on the indoor circuit in Middelburg.

The karting bug caught him immediately; his enthusiasm and instinct for speed were unmistakable.

On his sixth birthday, Jay received his first own kart, marking his move to outdoor racing.

He had his first real experience on the track in Strijen, but soon competed on circuits all over the Netherlands and Europe.

There he learned the finer points of the craft and developed into a young driver with remarkably mature racing insight.

"In 2024, I raced my first true high-level event β€” and was the only Dutch driver to make the podium at the IAME National Championships. A debut to be proud of."

"In 2025, I only competed in one race due to preparations for the DKM season β€” and that single race immediately resulted in a victory. Sometimes, one moment says it all."

"In 2024, I participated in a club race to see where we stood β€” finishing P2 right away. P1 was possible, but this was still a fantastic achievement and a clear confirmation of our progress"
